adding second brooktrout board

Hello Actfax, we recently added a second modem to our actfax server computer. So now we have two boards, a single port brooktrout and a dual port brooktrout. The new board is installed and working properly, but we are unable to get actfax to work with this board. The actfax server software won't let us add a second Modem using the BFAX port, so i am looking for setup instructions on how to have both boards active in ActFax? The single port board is still working and sending/receiving faxes. Any help in getting this modem to work alongside the first board would be appreciated.

On the fax server you always only have a single Brooktrout board in the menu Communication / Modem (also when using multiple Brooktrout boards). When adding a second Brooktrout board to the system, it would be important to configure a unique module number to each board (i.e. module number 2 for the first board and 3 for the second board). Then it would also be important to once run the Brooktrout config tool after the board has been added to the system. On the fax server you should also make sure that the number of channels is not limited in the menu Communication / Modem / Modify / Port Settings.
